His passion for bachata was born in Dublin, visiting Latin music nightclubs where he learned to dance and enjoy this musical genre full of guitars, melodies, and poetry. This inspired him to pursue this path, leading him to begin a project that took more than five years to prepare and develop, resulting in an album titled Valen, featuring 11 songs written by him. “Mi primera vez” (My First Time) was the first promotional single, released in 2024.

His new musical project includes songs composed, produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by him in diverse styles such as bachata, urban, mambo, merengue, ballads, and rumba with a flamenco touch—a genre that has captivated him since a young age.

Awarded the 2025 Latino Award for his song “Quedate” for best use of melody in musical production, Valen promises to captivate and charm his audience with an original style of bachata, showcasing not only his sweet voice but also his wonderful guitar sound.
